Featuring all the advantages of the Leaf expander without the need of periodic reactivation. The work of this expander is assigned entirely to the flexible properties of the nickel titanium leaf springs releasing controlled and continuous forces.
The choice of the expander is decided on the basis of the transverse discrepancy of the patient: therapy is therefore predetermined and no further action is required, nor by the clinician nor even by the patient. Available in two strength levels and two expansion capabilities to meet nearly all maxillary deficiencies.
It includes all advantages of the Leaf expander without the need for periodicreactivation. The effectiveness of this expander is based entirely on the elasticcapacity of the leaf springs made of Nickel Titanium that release controlledand continuous forces. The choice of the expander is decided on the basis ofthe transversal discrepancy of the patient: the therapy is predetermined anddoes not require any further action either by the clinician nor patient.The expander is available in two models, 450 g and 900 g and each one ofthese is available in two expansion capacities: 6 mm (four leaf springs) and9 mm (six leaf springs). The expander is supplied with leaf springs readycompressedby two metal staples that the technician will remove after theconstruction of the device. The package includes a special clip with a safetyleash to keep the leaf springs compressed, facilitating the technician and theclinician in specific phases of realization and treatment.Inside the package is also available practical instructions for use where all theconstruction steps and methods of delivery are illustrated.
